Baker's Dozen.

If you like a chewy coconut macaroon—combined with just a hint of Nutella flavor—then this is the perfect treat for you!

Nowata, Oklahoma (or the area that is now Nowata) was actually originally named Metz, after the community’s first postmaster. However, members of the Lenape tribe who were passing through the community began to refer to it as “nuwita”, which translated to “friendly” or “welcome”, but in the Cherokee language, the name of the town roughly translates to, “water is all gone”, or “no water”.Coincidentally, these macaroons are made with no water (although--to be fair--pretty much all cookies aren’t made with water).
