This cookie is made with red velvet cake mix, butter, cream cheese, and dark chocolate espresso chips. Before going into the oven, it’s coated with powdered sugar, which gives the finished cookie a “crinkle” effect! It’s soft, rich, and oh so delicious! Boomer Sooner!
Norman, OK was settled during the Land Run of 1889 and is named after the city’s first official land surveyor, Abner Norman. Norman is home to many amazing sites, including the National Weather Center, the National Postal Training Center, and the University of Oklahoma. It also happens to be the city that I was born in, raised in most of my life, and that I now call home. Normanites are proud of their Crimson and Cream and this cookie pays homage to that!
