Sharing the Stories of Oklahoma Through Cookies

I am a 4th generation Oklahoman who has made Norman my home. I was born here and have grown up here off and on. I met my husband in Norman while earning my undergraduate degree at OU and we are raising our two sons in this amazing town.

I began my little cookie company, Okie Baking Company, in February of 2018. I had worked for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services in the field of children's behavioral health for over 11 years when I was diagnosed with Lupus SLE. After a lot of soul searching and discussions with my husband, I decided to leave my career in behavioral health and start my baking business.

I specialize in homestyle cookies (cookies like your grandma might make)
that are inspired by the different places and people that make our state great! My primary mission is to spread happiness through homestyle cookies and other baked goods and to give back to our community. I also want to bring attention and awareness to the great people and places around Oklahoma that may otherwise go unnoticed.

I love to help share their story through my cookies.
